I would like to move Tommy Edman to 2B for May and Justin Turner as our DH for May

If you check out your page, you will see that Justin Turner is currently a starter as your "extra hitter."  It doesn't matter if he is considered as a DH or not.  If I designate him to be your DH, he cannot be considered at another position (according to my logic) and can only be a starter as the "extra hitter."  So, at this point, it makes no difference.  The way it could make a difference is if you want Turner to be your extra hitter even if he does not fit the calculation of "extra hitter" using the "estimated value" at the end of the month.  We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
