September Stats

I see that Luis Castillo shows 5 September wins already. I'll look into it.

Yeh, he has always been strong down the stretch in September! I was just going to send you a note about that. There is also an "anti-Castillo" at the bottom of my starters list. I guess that is his evil twin.

Ron, thanks for directing my attention to Evil Luis Castillo. That tipped me off that there are two Luis Castillo's in the stats. I begged my stats source to use player ID numbers in the download so this problem would not happen, but no luck. You saved me some time in assessing the problem by pointing it out.

OK, I think I can put this to rest. September stats are now fixed and Evil Luis is nothing more than a memory. Evil Luis actually pitched two innings in August but the August stats are screwed up because my program took Evil Luis's stats at the end of August and subtracted Good Luis's stats from the end of July. Since Evil Luis did not appear as a starter, that doesn't ultimately matter.

I have verified that the August stats for Good Luis are fine.

I can now move on with my life.

When Super Luis appeared, I jumped up a few places in the standings. I was tempted to leave it alone and see what would happen. I figured that Mike would bust me if I got close enough to him in the standings! I was also worried about having Evil Luis on the loose. Anyway, thank you for all your effort to set this right; it sounds like you had to do some serious digging to fix it. We really appreciate all you do to make this league work!
